I have a confession to make… I totally forgot our anniversary. You heard right. The HMA has been around for a year already. Although I had already been running public mining fleets for some time, it was on March 16th, 2021 that our organization was officially founded. Initially known as the the Hek Mining Authority, we quickly changed our branding to the kind and gentler Hek Mining Association. However, as you can see from our very first MotD, our purpose has always been the same.
Irresponsible mining practices endanger our precious mineral resources leaving our system barren and devastated. To ensure that our asteroids are maintained for ourselves and future generations RogueCorp has taken on the burden of regulating all mining within Hek and surrounding systems.To guarantee that you are in compliance with all necessary regulations it is imperative that you join the RogueCorp Public Mining Fleet. Should a fleet not be available during your hours of operation please consider joining our organization. It is only through working together that we can secure the future of Hek,
So far the HMA has succeeded beyond my expectations. We have certainly had some setbacks but overall we have seen steady growth of our community and refinement of our process. As we continue into our second year, I look forward to what the future holds. The recent compression changes have drastically improved our logistics making it more convenient to operate in the surrounding systems. Beyond our territorial expansion, plans are in the works to increase our operational expansion to include more activities. At it’s core the HMA has always been about making Eve a more inclusive place by generating and providing content. And, there is plenty of content out there to be had.
